What happens during a treatment session?

To receive treatment you will remain fully clothed, lying mostly on your back on a treatment table (similar to a massage table), although I can treat in a seated position if that would be more comfortable. I will place my hands gently on different parts of your body, including your feet, the back of your head, under your lower back and on your hips and sacrum. There is no manipulation involved, and if anywhere feels uncomfortable or you’d prefer me not to touch a particular area, just let me know. You might feel some warmth and tingling sensations, but you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable during the treatment, so please let me know if you feel any unpleasant sensations.

The treatment will last for around an hour, but could be longer or shorter depending on the time we have and what feels right to us both at the time.

Below is an image of my practice room at Kingsley House in Chudleigh, where the session will take place. This room is up several flights of stairs, so if this is an issue for you then please let me know and we can find an alternative venue.

After a session, you may feel relaxed, and need to lie down for a while. The effects of the session can last for several days afterwards, so please take things gently in this time.

How much will it cost?

I charge £40 for a 1 hour session (concession rates available by request).

I recommend booking at least 3 sessions as this allows for deeper and more effective treatment.

Cancellation & Confidentiality Policies: If you cancel a session within 48 hours of the session start time then the full fee will be charged. All data is stored securely and anonymised where possible. Everything that happens in the session is confidential, however if I am concerned about your safety or wellbeing I may contact your emergency contact.
